When you leave a comment on our site, the data entered in the comment form, as well as your IP address and your browser’s user agent, are collected to help us detect undesirable comments.

An anonymized string created from your e-mail address (also known as a hash) may be sent to the Gravatar service to check whether you use it. Gravatar’s privacy policy is available here: Once your comment has been validated, your profile photo will be publicly visible alongside your comment.


If you upload images to the site, we advise you to avoid uploading images containing EXIF data of GPS coordinates. People visiting your site may download and extract location data from these images.


If you leave a comment on our site, you will be asked to save your name, e-mail address and site in cookies. This is purely for your convenience, so that you don’t have to enter this information if you post another comment later. These cookies expire after one year.

If you go to the login page, a temporary cookie will be created to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. It contains no personal data and will be deleted automatically when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will set a number of cookies to record your login information and screen preferences. The lifetime of a login cookie is two days, that of a screen option cookie is one year. If you check “Remember me”, your login cookie will be kept for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookie will be deleted.

By editing or publishing a publication, an additional cookie will be stored in your browser. This cookie contains no personal data. It simply indicates the ID of the publication you have just modified. It expires after one day.

Embedded content from other sites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other sites behaves in the same way as if the visitor were visiting that other site.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed third-party tracking tools, track your interactions with such embedded content if you have a logged-in account on their website.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

We provide you with forms for registration, login and user profile.
Through these forms we collect personal data from users.
All data provided is recorded when someone submits / fills in one of the forms.
Registered user information is stored in your website’s database indefinitely.
Data can be exported or deleted at the user’s request via the existing WordPress data exporter or deleter.
Data is retained until the user unsubscribes or is deleted.

Where do we send your data?

We send data from registered accounts to external services such as email or meeting managers via our extensions. These services may be located abroad and outside the EU.

Data storage periods

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are stored indefinitely. This allows us to automatically recognize and approve subsequent comments instead of leaving them in the moderation queue.

For accounts that register on our site (where applicable), we also store the personal data indicated in their profile. All accounts can view, modify or delete their personal information at any time (with the exception of their login). Site managers can also view and modify this information.

The rights you have over your data

If you have an account or if you have left comments on the site, you can ask to receive a file containing all the personal data we hold about you, including that which you have provided to us. You can also request the deletion of your personal data. This does not include data stored for administrative, legal or security purposes.

Google services

If we use Google services to create maps and provide answers when searching for events by location. These services may collect data in accordance with Google’s privacity policy.


We collect and store information you provide to us for bookings in order to process your request and keep a record of that booking. We collect and store information you provide about events (and associated locations) you wish to publish on our site. We may use temporary cookies to store information about a booking in progress as well as error/confirmation messages during the submission or management of your events and locations.
