YOUR OWN SIGNAL

As humanity, we are going through an enormous process of transformation. As unconscious patterns that are not aligned with Source become conscious and visible, we find ourselves disoriented and faltering. Instability creates insecurity. The usual process leads the mind to seek security outside itself. We look for external messages, we listen to the news, other people’s opinions and points of view, spiritual channels and mediums: we look for someone to answer our questions and tell us what to do…

All of this is an automatic and unnecessary substitute for the path that leads us to listen to our own signal.

 

The need for role models and leaders is deeply ingrained in the human mind. Our religions, cultures, and educational systems indoctrinate us, make us believe that we are powerless, and encourage us to distrust our own feelings and intuition. We look outside ourselves for guidance, to know what to believe, what is true, and how to obey.

 

This has been going on for centuries, and look where it has gotten us! The planet is on the brink of collapse, there is more poverty and despair than ever before, and less freedom. We repeat the same patterns of thought and action over and over again, even when we get the same disastrous results.

 

Yet human beings are deeply and naturally good and wise. They seek happiness, harmony, and peace so that they and their children can thrive. They spontaneously tend to help each other when necessary. They cooperate instead of competing.

This is what we call our signal, our natural tendency, our unique attribute.

So what happens?

We don’t trust ourselves! We conform. We please others before listening to our own needs. We want to be accepted and fit in, according to social norms, at the expense of expressing what we know to be right.

Is it time to try something different? Yes!
